I have asked myself many times over the last 4 years, why we/our lawmakers, haven’t started the process to impeach Obama. An independent news agency, WND.com just might have the answer. There is the belief that there are enough votes in the House to impeach him but that if it was to move forward, it may damage the Country because of the Democratic Senate.

Representative Blake Farenthold (R-TX) said that a vote in the House for impeachment, wouldn’t mean much if you couldn’t get it in the Senate. During a town hall meeting, he was asked by an attendee, why not impeach Obama and related it specifically to the validity of his birth certificate. Part of the meeting was recorded and posted online, and the attendee presented Rep. Farenthold with what she says is, an affidavit from Mike Zullo, lead investigator on the Maricopa County, AZ, cold case unit. That unit has been investigating the validity of Obama’s birth certificate and released their findings last year. A copy of Zullo’s affidavit is available on the Maricopa County  Cold Case Posse website.

Farenthold believes that it’s probably to late to be able to take action now, saying that the Congress that was seated at the time, should have done something about it. It may be to late now and he says, he doesn’t know how to fix it. “The original Congress, when his eligibility came up, should have looked into it, and they didn’t. I’m not sure how we fix it.”

Farenthold referred to the impeachment attempt of President Bill Clinton. He was not convicted in the Senate. That action, he says, redefined sex for a lot of young people. “What message do we send to America, if we impeach Obama and he gets away with what he’s impeached for and he is found innocent? What then do we say is OK?”
